  • Small cookies: such as coconut macaroons and meringues

(fruit portion)

  • Cantaloupe
  • Honeydew
  • Green grapes
  • Red grapes
  • Strawberries
  • Pineapple

(vegetable portion)

  • Your favorite vegetable dip
  • Baby cauliflower
  • Radishes, sliced
  • Carrots (I used mini, sliced, colorful ones found at Trader Joes)

(classic charcuterie)

  • ¼ cup apricot (or other) jam
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¾ cup olives
  • Round and square crackers
  • 1 brie cheese wedge
  • 1 block of white cheese, cubed
  • 8 ounces salami slices
  • 5 ounces pepperoni slices
  • Optional garnish: 3 slices of cheese (+ cookie cutters for fun designs)
  • Optional garnish: salami slices for rose

Instructions

  • Grab your favorite charcuterie board.
  • Make any cookies or dip (in this recipe, they were store boughten to save time).
  • Clean and cut any fruits and vegetables.
  • Add any items desired to their bowls, in the case of this recipe: veggie dip, honey, jam, olives, jelly beans, and M&Ms. Place on the board.
  • Add bakery items, candy, and crackers to the board.
  • Then, add fruits and/or vegetables.
  • Create a decorative salami rose if desired, by laying salami over a wine glass edge. Fold salami and pepperoni slices; by folding each piece in half and then in half again for a nice, raised look.
  • Finally, add meats and cheeses to the board; you’ll want these added last so they can stay in the refrigerator as long as possible.
  • Finish by adding any serving utensils needed such as honey dippers, cheese knives, small serving spoons, etc.

Notes

*Fun addition ideas: edible flowers (to add an additional spring touch), deviled eggs, nuts/pistachios, cucumbers, fruit dip (pink), spring colored chocolate covered strawberries, and lemon or Easter spritz cookies.
