Ingredients

  • 2 - 750 ml bottles white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc recommended)
  • 6 tablespoons organic white tea
  • 2 peaches pitted, sliced
  • 2 plums pitted, sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup strawberries stemmed and cut in half
  • ^or about 4 cups of any in-season fruit of choice^
  • 1 cup rum optional

Instructions

  • Pour wine into a large pitcher. Add tea. Mix well. Allow tea to steep in the wine overnight in your refrigerator.
  • In the morning (or about 6 hours before you plan to serve the sangria), remove the tea leaves (I just used a fine mesh strainer). Add fruit into the wine. Place back in the fridge to allow fruit to infuse for about 6 hours.
  • Add rum if desired. Serve; using a spoon to scoop fruit into glasses if desired.

Notes

*White wine used should be something crisp, dry, and inexpensive but not cheap (low-mid price range)
