Why You’ll Love This Banana Pudding Cheesecake Dip

This dip is made with real banana instead of pudding mix. It’s light, fluffy, and creamy and an easy no-bake dessert. Ready in just 10 minutes, it’s perfect for parties and potlucks; as well as naturally gluten-free when served with gluten-free dippers.

Banana Pudding Dip with Pink Napkin and Dippers Ingredients

Ingredients

Unlike traditional banana pudding dip recipes made with pudding mix and frozen whipped topping, this homemade version uses real ingredients while still delivering nostalgic banana pudding flavor.

You’ll need heavy cream, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, a ripe banana, cinnamon, maple syrup, and banana extract (optional) for an extra boost of classic banana flavor. Serve with your favorite gluten-free vanilla wafer cookies, graham crackers, fresh fruit, or other dippers.

How to Make Banana Pudding Dip

This no-bake banana pudding dip comes together in just a few easy steps. First, whip the heavy cream until light and fluffy. Next, beat together the cream cheese mixture before gently folding in the whipped cream to create a smooth, airy dip.

Transfer it to a serving bowl, garnish if desired, and serve with your favorite dippers. Great for an easy dessert dip that’s ready in just 10 minutes.

Tips

  • Choose a ripe banana with plenty of brown speckles for the sweetest flavor and smoothest texture.
  • Banana extract is optional, but it adds the nostalgic flavor many people associate with classic banana pudding.
  • Wait to add banana slices until just before serving so they stay fresh.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make banana pudding dip ahead of time?

This is best served fresh due to the limited preparation time and ripe banana. Add any banana slices or crushed cookies just before serving for the best texture.

Is this banana pudding dip gluten free?

The dip itself is gluten free. Simply pair it with gluten free cookies, graham crackers, fruit, or your favorite gluten free dippers.

Can I skip the banana extract?

Absolutely! The fresh banana provides plenty of flavor on its own. The banana extract simply adds a stronger, nostalgic banana pudding flavor.
