This gluten free baked brie is the ultimate easy holiday party appetizer. Warm, melty brie is wrapped in flaky gluten free puff pastry (I used Sweet Loren®’s), with your favorite jam or preserves inside. It looks elegant and takes less than 10 minutes to assemble, making it perfect for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Galentine’s Day, or any party that needs a simple gluten free starter.

Serve it with crisp apples, cherries, grapes, and gluten free crackers for a crowd-pleasing appetizer that feels fancy without effort.
Gluten Free Baked Brie Ingredients
This recipe is SO easy with only 4 ingredients required:
- Gluten free puff pastry sheet: I used Sweet Loren®’s (pictured below)
- 1 round wheel of Brie cheese
- Your favorite jam/preserves. Some of my favorites for this recipe are: cherry, raspberry, fig, blackberry, apricot, cranberry, or hot pepper jelly.
- An egg (beaten for brushing on top)
- Optional: a drizzle of honey after baking and or fresh herbs (rosemary/thyme) for garnishing

How to Make Gluten Free Baked Brie
Thaw the gluten free puff pastry according to package directions. Preheat the oven (400°F). Open up the fully thawed gluten free puff pastry sheet and place it on a baking sheet (or cutting board to prep it) and place the brie wheel on top, followed by jam spread on top, and with the pastry sheet folded around it.
The pastry sheet is then sealed (see below for details), brushed with egg. And bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned.
How to Assemble + Fold It (Visual Guide)
Prep: place brie in center, spoon jam on top (and spread evenly). Lift one corner of pastry over the brie.

Bring opposite corner up and pinch. Continue until fully wrapped. Smooth seams together (adding a tiny bit of water to your fingertips helps). Lightly slice decorative lines on top if you like the “en croute” look; its optional but pretty!

What to Serve with Baked Brie
This is best served on a party platter/small charcuterie board alongside dippers. Some great dippers that work include: apple slices (red + green), grapes, cherries, and gluten free crackers. Additional options include: gluten free pretzels, gluten free crostinis, and pear slices.

FAQ + Tips
Soak cut slices in a mixture of ½ teaspoon salt per 1 cup water for 20 minutes. Rinse quickly and pat dry.
It’s optional. The rind is fully edible. Leave it on for structure or trim it off if you prefer a smoother melt.
Just pinch the dough together over the crack. If it’s stubborn, dab on a tiny bit of water to help seal it.
Yes! Drizzle warm honey on top after baking for a sweet finish.

Gluten Free (Puff Pastry) Baked Brie
Ingredients
- 1 sheet gluten free puff pastry thawed
- 8 ounces Brie wheel
- ⅓ cup jam/jelly or preserves in your favorite flavor (I like cherry)
- 1 large egg beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Open up a fully thawed gluten free puff pastry sheet and place it on a baking sheet (or cutting board to prep it).
- Place the brie wheel on top.*
- Add your jam to the top and spread it evenly across the top of the wheel.
- Fold the pastry sheet around the wheel of brie. Gather the pastry in the middle and pinch/press the folds to seal it. *I prefer it be closed up completely or jam can seep through and burn on the pan.
- Brush all around the pastry with the egg.
- Bake the final wheel for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Serve with grapes, apples, cherries, and gluten free crackers, and enjoy!
